hey i have this issue with my texture when im in texture mode it looks like it should budt when in material and render its not the same why i tried now fixing it with no luck
i also linked the texture
You need a bump node for the normal map to work, it should also be set to non color data in the colorspace.

With the setup of images he has, it would be a Normal Map node, not a bump node.

budt the issue is why is it white in render on scope budt not on materials or texture view ???
fixed the issue deleted the original uv map
Material Preview in contrast to Rendered View doesn’t use all textures and material settings… there is a reason why they are named differently (also uses not all UVmaps… )
