When mapping texture to top of the object all is well, but when mapping texture to sides the texture is stretched. I’ve tried moving the selection in the uv editor but still the same results. What must I do to correct this?
Could you post some images that explain what is happening? (like one of your UV map, one of the model, and one of a render?) That would help people to better identify what exactly is the problem.
Go into your texture panel and make sure your coordinates are changed from ‘generated’ to ‘UV’
And under projection try changing it from ‘flat’ to ‘cube’.
