I have texture 1 and 2. Texture 1 is sand and Texture 2 is cliff. I created a black and white image. The white areas are ciff and the black is sand. How do I use the image to map Texture 2 and Texture 1?
The color mix node, read the Blender wiki for basic information on its usage.
Pllug the black and white stencil image node to the mix fac of the mix node between the other two shaders from the cliff and sand.
Thanks guys, I got it working using a png image texture with transparency. I only painted the cliff parts and left the other areas transparent. I have added separate UV maps for each. This should be useful for now. I’m still figuring out how to use the black & white stencil image…
