Texture not mapping onto flat plane

Hello,

I feel a bit silly asking this very very basic question, but here it goes. I’m testing out a wood floor texture on single face flat plane (with a couple other objects in the scene). That’s all there is to it. And yes, the “floor” has been unwrapped. For the life of me I can’t understand why the texture is behaving this way. What simple thing am I missing here? Are the texture co. and mapping nodes the issue here?

I watched Blender Guru’s wood floor tutorial to see if I missed checking an obscure option or something, but nope.

Hi, change from equirectangular projection.

Edit: Could also swap that Environment texture for an Image texture node while you’re at it.
Pt2: The Mapping node isn’t doing anything useful here so it should be deleted.

@LoboTommy - @$(*&^%(&% Clearly I wasn’t paying attention. Image texture of course worked. Thank you!
