Texture not working

need help, its a image texture, i tried painting over it but it does not appear to the mesh, its black and white in purpose

Your mix nodes are in “color” blend mode. This won’t work with what you are doing.

If you want your black and white texture to act as a mask, you need to set the mix nodes to “mix” mode. Then, the factor will switch between the 2 inputs.
