You didn’t include the textures with the files, so I can’t really demonstrate, but if you switch to texture mode in solid view you should see your textures, which is what I think you’re asking.

Thanks. The textures still aren’t showing. Can you pop the textures into this thread, or pack external data into the file and try linking it again?

the texture looks like this lol.

it breaks when i unwrap it so i have no idea how to deal with this thing, are you sure yours isn’t working? I imported it and it worked fine

Yes, I’m sure. Don’t worry about it. I’ll knock something together to show what I mean real quick with a temporary texture.

You want the color of the blocks in object mode mixed with the texture, right?

yup, i am going to bake it later too

i used simplebake without unwrapping the texture and it came out like this

Is this something like what you’re looking for? This is material preview mode.

I don’t know that you can mix texture and solid color in solid shade mode.

yeah, something like that, but the bottem should be a cross texture, werid

That’s easy to fix. Just put the cross texture in the slot for the image texture for the bottom material. That should fix it. I only had the one texture, so I put it in for both materials.

Also: if you disable show backfaces then you can see that you have flipped normals…
