Ok i know how to texture paint just fine,but when i save my file and come back to it later everything i painted is black and i have to repaint , can anyone help please.
You have to manually save your painted texture before saving your blend, it is not saved automatically.
gona sound nooby right now , but how do i do that 
You’ll see your painted texture in the UV/Image editor window. Save the painted image from the Image / Save as Image menu
