Texture Painting - brush scale?

Is there a way for the Blender texture paint brush to scale in proportion to my viewport zoom?

If I am zoomed in close to a mesh and using a large brush, when I zoom out from the mesh the brush is still large?

It means if I am painting some detail at one level of viewport zoom, the pixel detail of the brush is totally different in another level of viewport zoom.

This doesn’t happen in Substance Painter where the brush size stays relative to the view you’re painting on meaning the painted texture detail remains consistent.

I guess this is how Blender texture paint works.

I’ve had this confirmed on the Polycount forums that the Blender Paint brush size is measured In pixels relaitve to the screen / viewport, and what I am asking for is a brush size system that is in proportion to the mesh
