Hello, when I paint in the 3D viewport it is stretched and not in the right place even though my UVs are fine. But when I paint in the image editor it gives me perfect paint. What do I do?
Well… I hate to say this, but this is a sign that your UVs are not actually fine can you share a screenshot of your UV mapping?
I see you’re painting in Eevee… Does it act like that in Solid View?
Maybe it has something to do with different mapping in shader editor?

Annndd it’s not a square but your other bw texture is… so there has to be some streching to match the object (in both textures v=0.0 is on the left an v=1.0 is on the right…).

Yep, this plane, not being square, is being stretched into the square UV space, which would explain the stretching you’re seeing
