Texture Rotation changes around object

Hey guys,

I´m just building a window with construction connection tape. I created this texture for the construction tape:

I applied all transforms and did a Smart UV unwrap but the texture just changing his rotation over the object:

All should look like the upper part but as example the right part I marked is completely rotated.

I created it with a path then converted it to a mesh and put a solidify modifier on it to get some thickness:

Does someone have a Idea, why this happens and how I get the texture straight?

can you show us the UVs? also is there any reason for the pinching of the topology in the flat sections of the tape? this looks like it has wayyyy too many polygons for what it is
