Hi all! I have a problem with my game…the textures are flickering on a long distance as you could see on my screenshot. Is there any way you could fix this problem?
Thanks
Hello
probably you’ve some “objects/faces overlapping”?!
Check for it.
And…maybe some “level making” basics remind( sorry for the pretentious sentence):
Avoid long corridors specially with repeated geometric patterns.
Add some “breaks” maybe?
Bye
Hard to tell from the image, but it looks like you may have no mipmaps… how old is your video chipset? If you think it can support mipmaps, make sure that they’re turned on inside Blender… the option can be found in the frame at the top of the screen.
Mipmapping is also disabled when you have “texface” enabled in your materials. When playing a runtime or using the blenderplayer, if texface is on, mipmapping is off.
it’s ok now guys…I think we have fixed the problem. The problem was texturing was too small, so we have made them bigger in UV mapping. But we have now another problem and it is that bouncing problem against the wall. Does somebody here know how to fix it? And don’t make it complicated as well
Screenshots are highly appreciated…
