Textures , how to use?


I found some textures on the internet but I don’t know how to use them.
they have more channels than normal blender cycles .

how should i use them?

AO texture ?
height texture ?


Height is for displacement. You’ll see a Height input on a Displacement node- plug it in. If by “normal blender cycles” you mean a Principled BSDF- yeah, that doesn’t have even close to all the channels possible. See if you can find a guide to adding textures from wherever you downloaded it. Also, check this, it covers ambient occlusion:

and how do I make the displacement map not warp on the edges of the object?
