I bought a model of a creepy girl for a job. I took it into Mixamo, adding some animation, exported an FBX, brought it back into Blender, but now the textures are messed up.
On the first look it seems the second one has wrongly asigned materials… and one a second look… the hair i black but have overlpping UVs and the dame material as the body … ??
I think the hair should have a different material… or some reorganized UVs…
Edit: no i was totally wrong about this…
Edit2: no… no… in the origianl file the body and hair have different material… in the second the body and the hair have the same … so slect some and assign correct material like so:
The character is an absolute mess all around…but as far as the hair, you should have a B/W mask in your download folder…that is used for the hair alpha blend to make the strands…
Somehow it isn’t included or was not assigned when re-importing the model from Mixamo ( several things can get lost in transfers, Alpha Mask is the worst for it! )
Please find it and connect it with the Alpha on the Principled node…and you might drop a color ramp between to tweak it…
