Texturing 3D model of a shirt

Hello,

I want to texture a 3D model of this shirt you’re seeing in the image below. How do I do this in the most efficient way?

The original model wasn’t created by me. It had many inconsistencies; it was very bumpy so I took it upon myself to retopologise the model. However, I am not sure how to texture it properly because it has to look like the images that show the black shirts. It has to be that texture.

Thank you in advance!

You should cut seams where the real life shirt seams are.
Select your object. Press TAB. Enter EDIT MODE.
Switch to “edge” filter (press 2)
Select the edges you would normally see in a shirt, and then press CTRL+E (pop up menu: select MARK SEAMS)
Once you’re done, select all your model (in edit mode still) and press “U” (unwrap)https://blenderartists.org/uploads/default/original/4X/0/c/e/0cef9490e3492d4a05d134845468fc78217dd251.mp4
