Texturing not working with bezier curves?

I was trying to apply an emmison shader to the beizers that were traced over my desired text. But I can not see the emision working. Any reasons. I am trying to follow creative shrimps ‘sexy title’ tutorial.

In geometry of bezier curve. Did you add some value or not? Try it.

Thanks mate, I was thinking whether I needed bevel or not, but that was the problem.
