texturing

Well I have a project in blender in which I have to use 32 bitmap textures to texture and then export it with the .mat file and .ojb.

The only problem is I have no idea how to use blender other then to move around in the 3d realm, so I have no idea how to do many things.

What I need to know how to do is as follows:

  1. import textures

  2. apply textures

  3. apply a texture for each single plane (they need to be double sided textures)

yes the textures need to be 32 x 32, I just need to get the best quality out of that.

I am also not sure how to see the wire frame at the same time as seing the solid gray shape.

Guys please I never got a reply, how do you do this?
I only really need to know how to use several different textures at once and how to fit them on an object now. I kind of figured out the other stuff, but now I am stumped. Can anyone help? Please!?
