Texturing

My character renders looks like plastic as those of toy story,while i want them to appear realistic. How can i solve this?

Are you going to show us what they look like then? You don’t give any information on what material settings you are using or even what renderer you are using !
What is realistic ? If your character is supposed to be made of plastic maybe it does ? How are we supposed to know ?

I used a diffuse color, subdermal, epidermal and specular maps and and joind them with nodes

Or else you can tune down the Glossy shader used by the specular map, i.e. increase the Roughness with a Math node set to Multiply or increase the brightness of the spec map.
