Authorial study project that I finished this day.
in the theme thanatology (scientific study of death) where I tried to illustrate the butterfly’s life cycle, one of the main symbols of the theme.
I used some procedural textures, others painted and the butterfly was by an external image file.
Complete production using blender 2.82 and post production using adobe photoshop.

Shortly after you posting this i seen it on my phone but kept meaning to view on desktop, glad i did. Very nice execution and i feel like a bit a of a fool that i didnt pick up on the larva, caterpillar, butterfly, well done.
