I don’t think what I’m proposing would create cyclic dependencies. Athough I realize (thanks to your explanation earlier) that a Serial Loop Zones shader node would put a grid input through fractal functions like your new fractal Voronoi now does to the default (and perfectly optimized) quad grid data, if the Voronoi node could take alternate grid input as shown then both Voronoi functions and fractal functions would be feasable in that single node.
