The arms and the base of the torso do not look the way I want them to

I have a question about modeling.

I want to make the base of the arms and torso distinct, but they don’t look the way I want them to.

When I bevel the arms and torso, it looks weird, like they are pulled together.

If I crease the edges, it looks the same as when I bevel it.

I am having trouble not only with this, but also with modeling the base of the tail, antlers, and other protrusions as well, as this happens when modeling them.
So, can you please tell me how to model the base of the projection nicely as shown in the following image without having it pulled in a strange way?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Typically, you use three corners and adjust the round by moving the spacing of the edges.

Please refer to the character’s topology in the video below (It’s not a modeling video)
