My another effort to achieve most realistic results with Cycles, the scene was made based on real image, some post processing and overpainting plus minor touches have also been done on the image as well. C&C are welcome.
Very impressive. It has an appealing look and the lighting is just wonderful.
You are welcome friend and thanks for your attention, my pleasure.
I love it, but I think the wall behind the door should be a plain wall, not stone, because the stone just feels out of place, because it gives the place a modern feel, but the bathroom givesyou could do this with a simple node setup of taking a noise texture, adjusting the scale to be really high, and plugging the fac into a color ramp node, and plugging that into the displacement for the wall. And just having the wall be plain white. This will give the affect of a textured drywall which I think is more common in more traditional houses.
but the bathroom gives you more traditional vibes
Thanks for your comment Julian, as mentioned I have created this scene based on real photo in which the marble shower room existed at the end and I wanted to be faithful to the original photo. Regarding the rest I have no idea honestly speaking, the wall material setup in the scene is not as easy as you think, maybe when you created your first interior you can share your results in practice, Bests
Yeah, I understand, just trying to help out.
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
Thanks man, my pleasure
