The best software to back up your drives? (WIN OS)

hello

im searching a little user friendly window os software that can copy my 6To work HDD and my whole 500Go SSD + windows boot to another HDD and SSD of the same size.

i’d like the software to detect and add only the new or changed files since last copies only, so that i am not forced to overwrite already copied files in the disk.

i want to do a sync manually on the monthly basis?

any idea how i can do that ? any recommended softwares ? free or paid ?

I would try Macrium Reflect, its very good and free. However i dont know enough about it to say if it does exactly what you want it to do.

I suggest opensurce Freefilesync

Easus Todo Backup is a good choice, it’s free. There’re other 13 software may interested of you

PathSync, SyncToy… free and easy to use for manual backup.

Urbackup is the best for true backups. Do not use syncing, because it is not a backup solution, if your source is corrupt all the clones will be corrupt too.

Depends on the tool used for synching. Dsynchronize ( http://dimio.altervista.org/eng/index.html#DSynchronize ) will not only continuously synch to one or more folders, but also maintain (if required) an infinite number of old versions. It has automatic versioning built-in.

Which means that even if a file becomes corrupt while working on it, the old versions (all of them) remain available.

I currently use the free Restic software. https://restic.net/ It does not completely fit your requirements because it will not be able to clone and restore the Windows OS. It can backup all of your files with daily, weekly, yearly copies. Being only slightly paranoid I use two separate backup programs but the other one is paid and the company sold the software to another company who only tries to milk the existing users. For a paid supported software I will be switching to https://www.acronis.com/en-us/personal/computer-backup/ I do not get money from anyone for these comments.
