But Pen Tilt Support is in. And that is great.
That improves a lot intuitiveness of brushes behaviour.
Especially, for the ones in substract mode.
You need less to change Sculpt Plane to View.
IMO, it is too strong for Draw Sharp.
People will be more frustrated by the absence of pinch for draw sharp.
That would probably make no sense to have such Tilt Strength for Inflate and Layer brushes. But I would like to have it for Crease and Blob brushes.
IMO, that is pertinent for any brush using a Space Stroke Method with a pertinent use of View Sculpt Plane.
Maybe that could be interesting to test that for Nudge and Snake Hook brushes.
Multires: Remove legacy compatibility code accepted
Although it would be possible to remove the old code up to 2.8. Not just up to 2.5.
In the sense that the new point of reference is 2.8.
Dude, why would you even consider buying something like this. You can get full licence for 3d coat for 279$ on black friday? 109$ for an addon that does just this? Thats crazy. In 3d coat you have autoretopo that does job amazingly well and many other tools.
I would like to mention that multires is quite unstable / unpredictable, at least in 2.91 nightly. It totally messed up my commission portrait sculpt last night because I did an accidental alt+click on something. The sculpt turned into a bizarre potato man head with knives coming out from all directions. I recommend that you do not use it for commercial work unless you save every 4 secs. Thankfully I had a recent backup.
Happened to me as well. I’ve tried to rebuild subdivisions on a mesh. It worked fine before, now it explodes into a spiked mess, sometimes you can’t even undo it.
I also own 3D-Coat, and it’s a great tool, but I find it much more convenient to be able to frequently auto-retopologize my objects inside Blender, and Quad Remesher’s retopology algorithm is better than 3D-Coat’s Autopo. I did many tests.
Also, as @MichaelColina wrote: Quad Remesher’s Indie license is very reasonably priced.
