Sorry that’s bad english on my part. I said there “needs to be”, not that there isn’t one.
Imo it’s just not very clear if there’s a way to do it properly. If anything there’s too many spaces. But yeah devtalk and blender chat are good ones because they are close to the devs.

Definitely a huge topic. Hard to say anything concretely true without a few dozen asterisks.
There’s also a difference between “will to communicate” and the available time. And I don;t think devs are intentionally ignoring feedback they don’t want to hear.
Changes should always be well motivated and discussed. There’s often artists involved, just not everyone at once.
Missteps happen and get corrected. If no mistakes happen then nothing ever gets done.
