“To be delicate,” I never really could figure out what this movie was supposed to be about. You have some interesting ideas and sound-effects, but I suggest that you should take your film-editing knife to it … aggressively. To me, the film “stalls” several times. Don’t create more material, but edit what you’ve got hard.
I like your film.
I like the consistent low-poly style.
I like the use of dramatic lighting (both dark and light).
I especially like your sound-track and foley.
The pace is a little slow, but consistent with Tarkovskiy,
for dramatic effect and building tension.
Since all the film is visual and situational,
I would encourage you to work on story-telling & script-writing:
I feel a little let down, when you resort to text panels to tell us the moral.
“Don’t tell us, SHOW us.”
Above all, try to avoid being “Preachy”.
Don’t tell me to buck societal expectations to follow my dreams,
SHOW me someone who bucked societal expectations,
and how their non-standard life-path and choices led to their greater happiness.
After I absorb your story about someone else,
it’s up to me to choose whether or not to emulate their actions.
Just my two cents. 
I like your film.
I’m impressed you put this all together (I know how much work goes into this).
I hope you make more animated films,
and continue to grow as a story-teller.

The film is a metaphorical, introspective visual story, which open the door to interpretation. Which is why the point may be hard to catch at the first watch!

To tell you a little more, this project was made to test our new film production pipeline, so the story had to be short, and not take too long to write - which is why it could have deserved more development. We love that sentence “Don’t tell us, SHOW us” and we truly agree with you on that topic! Especially that, in our silent film style, showing is absolutely crucial to tell a story hehe. We’ll definitely keep that in mind for our next further-developed films!
