Congratulations, this is a great piece. But there’s one minor thing that makes me wonder… Is the black shape between the lips in the rendering a shadow or it’s the mouth open? In case of a shadow it looks too black since you have plenty of subsurface scattering going on. If the mouth is open, I would expect to see some teeth. Those things are not noticeable on your blender screenshot. Anyhow, great piece (especially since you write it’s your first Blender rendering). What did you use before?
Thanks for the advice, yes, the mouth is open and I should have shown my teeth :(, many years ago I used Lightwave 3D.
