sorry maybe i misunderstood you

That is a screenshot of elephant’s dream, the very first blender open movie project, and it’s what popped into my mind when I first saw this thread.

))))) I’ll tell you, a good idea occurred to you

As a Greek I am honored by this image’s beauty. I am surprised that you picked a cloudy day , even though my country is known for its sunny summer days. I love being surprised. I give it a 9/10

It is a great honor for me and many thanks, do not pay attention to the weather, the sun always shines after the rain, I wish you good luck in your country. My Colossus is on guard

The pose and the sculpting of the Colossus is what really “sells the shot,” although the first photo reveals the use of forced perspective – the temple is actually quite small. The whole thing would probably fit onto the deck of that boat.

Nonetheless, the entire scene is filled with delicious detail, everywhere you look.

Thank you very much, in fact, all the scales are correct, this is a camera tact ruined everything, so everything is so great, if you look at the other photos, you will see that everything is correct. I recently noticed this camera error, but did not fix it anymore.

the temple is big it is far away

totally cool! I like the 3rd shot best. the first would maybe be better if there were people on the temple steps or something. Would give it a clue as to perspective. Every object in the scene may be proportionally correct, but without reference its hard to give the idea of size. There is large mountains, large ships, large temple, large rocks, large lighthouse, large walls, and “colossal” statue. All together give it a miniature effect. I’m not sure where the birds fit into the perspective, because they are airborne, but they look like they are supposed to be on the other side of the temple, which would make those some pretty darn big birds!
Totally cool concept, awesome sculpting, Dig your bronze shaders!

A fello ancient Greece lover here! Awesome work mate, love the water shader and the statue design is neat! Id maybe consider to backlight the statue a bit, so that it pops out of the image a bit more?
