Hello, all! 
I am new here, and I have been using Blender for nearly a year now.
I have moved passed the point of basic modelling, such as modelling cups, spheres, and other basic objects/scenes.
As I progress, and create more complex scenes, I notice my laptop (Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro) is now not able to do what I want/need.
Even basics scenes are rendering around 5 hours at around 1000 samples at 1920 x 1080 resolution. I can’t even use particle systems because of the lag. I realize this laptop does not have a good GPU, and it is certainly NOT compatible with Blender.

Would this be a good fit for rendering more complex scenes?
It has the Nvidia GTX 970 Graphics Card, and I would likely upgrade to 32GB of Ram.
If anyone has any recommendations for a computer, please let me know.
