I’m always excited when people finish such marathon like projects. It’s quite motivating, and also a bit overwhelming. On one hand I can imagine the feeling of producing a short film in under 2 years (I’d struggled for the past x years to even write it) and at the same time, can quite literally feel the feeling of how daunting a task it may seem. So on that note, I’d like to congratulate you on your hard work, and thank you for finally sharing the first glimpses of what we can expect 
.
To comment on the poster, I like it’s simplicity in composition and balance of details. Although I do wonder if the black background could’ve had something related to the story (even if it’s blurred)

Hey guys, my name is Debargha Maschatak. I am a 3D artist and an aspiring film-maker from India.
On August of 2022 I set out on a journey to get out of my comfort zone and truly challenge myself to make an entire short film all by myself in Blender.

I am not gonna post a trailer as the movie follows a highly complex plot, every scene I show would be a spoiler.

Hey guys, today I present to you the dialogue poster for “The Grandfather Paradox” - A Mind-Bending Blender Animated Short Film.

As you can see the poster seems to be made of traditional water color. But its achieved completely digitally through Blender and Photoshop.
I will break down the making process below.
Full Poster:
The base image was rendered in Blender. After adding the text, the watercolor effect was achieved through Photoshop using the Real PaintFX Photoshop Addon

It’s cool, and it nails the watercolor effect but… wouldn’t it be more accurate to say “Water color effect in Photoshop”?
