The grease pencil interpolation tool needs to be reassessed

I don’t know where else to put this. Grease pencil’s interpolation tool functions in only one way: It moves points from one location to another in a straight line. This would be fine, except it doesn’t account for strokes bending or morphing in specific ways. The a-to-b movement thing also means that strokes get demented or violated when you use ctrl + shift + E, so the result is that we have to manually interpolate the strokes and frames ourselves, defying the point of even having the tool in the first place. Is there any way to get someone to look at the tool and figure out how to solve this? I can’t figure out how else to describe the problem.
