The Last Few Steps

Here’s what I used to put it all together:

  • Modeling, Lighting & Rendering: Blender (Cycles)
  • Texturing: Substance 3D Painter
  • Vegetation & Foliage: SpeedTree, Blender
  • Mountains: Gaea
  • Compositing & Color Grading: After Effects

Also the video resolution is pretty low because I don’t have a 5090, and I hated the look of AI upscalers:joy:

Hello M8TIR76
I’m not gonna be picky, but as a cameraman in the past I had my “butt kicked” because of camera shakes like this. There are a lot of people with motion sickness and I’m one of them. And I had to reject watching couple of good movies recently because of unpleasant physical sense caused by the frame movement. For the rest, cool scenery, colors and composition. It doesn’t have this CG feeling (maybe it is good to not have it in HiRes) :+1:

Thanks for the insight, motion sickness is a very fair point and I’m glad you liked the scenery.

Wow this looks stunning! Such great work. Could be a bob ross painting haha

Thank you so much! I actually watched a lot of Bob Ross in my childhood!

Thank you very much, I cheated a little bit though, I recorded a video in my living room, then tracked the camera and used it in this project, although it was very rough so I had to change a lot in it manually
