The Last Supper

Hi,
My first bigger project of 2021 is out on my Artstation portfolio. My rendition of Da Vinci’s The Last Supper, I think some of you might be able to relate.

Let me know what you think!

Modern and clever. Toilet paper. All so meaningful of today life standards…

I like it, and a say that as an atheist.

I assume that you have re-used the characters, and if so, how have you managed to get the wrinkles to adapt to the poses?

EDIT: Oh, and what’s with the lollipop - I can’t work the innuendo?

I think the character is from this collection, and if so it’s fully rigged with proper vertex painting, so I assume the mesh deformation is also pretty stable.

Yes exactly, the characters are from Jama’s apocalypse pack. I only changed up the textures a little bit. They are fully rigged and textured and everything, posing them was super easy and fun. It’s a great pack, quite pricy but, if you can afford it it’s worth it 100%.

Thanks so much! I worked only 2 weekends on it but I did put a lot of hours into it, for sure. Around 90 I think.

Hi Adam !

Great idea.

Technically, it is as good as it gets.
The the rubber suits are very convincing … so is the rest.

The result is spooky … morbid … Yes it is mentally efficient … I feel … just … sick ( got no suit. )

Thanks for sharing !

Yep, that’s much too close to the way that a lot of people are being forced to live today. Nicely done.

I know right? Thanks so much!

I think for most of us Blender Artists we’re trying to achieve a certain level of development, learning or creation that comes with practice and some trial and error. Not only does this piece achieve everything that a successful project should, but it also succeeds as a work of provocative art and commentary. Transcendent. Fantastic job.
