The lighthouse simulation

Hey everyone,

I want to show my latest project, that took me a long time to finish.
I ran simulation after simulation to produce this watersplash that I was after.
I am still not perfectly satisfied and might try a new version soon. But it still looks beautiful to see this water splashing against the lighthouse.
You can see some details about the simulation in the video.
Done with Blender and Flip Fluids.

Here you can see it in motion with a lot of breakdowns:

I hope you like it, let me know what could be done better.

I love it, I wanted to do something similar with a wave destroying a lighthouse but I gave up, I sort of gave up on all sims of water - smoke etc.

I appreciate the work and patience needed to do this sort of thing, well done, it looks great.

I like it.Maybe its me that it looks like a miniature. However, great water sim and lighthouse. The second image has a better sense of scale even incomplete.

I agree, the scale feels off.

Thank you for your feedback!
Maybe it would need more mist and atmosphere to sell the scale better?

Not sure tbh,I think its the camera focal length and the distance to the object, this makes a images compressed looking or not.
A mist depth layer can help too though.

Maybe this video about sence of scale can help
