Hi There, I wanted to share my lasted art work The Lost Soldier I made in blender 4.3.
It’s about life after a devastating event, showing that life and nature always triumph over everything. In the render, a soldier who passed away long ago is surrounded by nature. The vines hold the soldier in an eternal embrace, comforting him in his everlasting sleep.
I used BlenderKit and Bridge for the 3D models, retexturing them to better fit the mood. The soldier was created using the Human Generator Ultimate addon. I further refined him in Substance Painter, blending the skull with the rest of the face to evoke the effect of a slowly decomposing body.
