The Octopus Treasure

Final project of module 2 developed in the course “Professional Training in 3D with Blender”, at Escola Revolution. With the theme: Pirates.

Briefing: Make a splash screen of the game on Steam, which will be used at launch.

The challenge of this module was to generate a scene using only poly-by-poly modeling (without using the subdivision modifier).

All models were made by polygonal modeling.
Procedural texture only.
Element Scatter: Geometry Nodes.
Necklaces and chains: Geometry Nodes
Spot and Point Lights.
Rendered in Cycles.

The fake game: using Unity with models made in Blender.

This is really cool. I am curious, how’d you do the iris procedurally?

Also, as soon as I saw the image it reminded me of “Name this Game” on Atari.
