The pirate in a paper boat

the thumbnail

final render

This scene was made for the Revolution school blender marathon, in which the theme was autumn.
So I decided to do something that reminded me of my childhood, and one of those things is the paper boat, which I loved to make and put them anywhere there was water, just to see it floating over the water, I thought that was amazing!

That certainly was a fun take on the contest theme. Reminds me of the time I folded paper boats and watched them flow down a creek. Joys of childhood!

Thanks for sharing. Cheers! :grinning:

Nice work!

Those bricks remind me of DX11 tessellation technology when it only came out back in 2009

I enjoyed my childhood too! Floating, flying and just moving  captured my imagination. Go carts, boats (rafts really) and even a homemade parachute. My mother loved it when I jumped off the roof!
