So the intention from the blender developers is the make rigging a node-based process, something similar to Geonodes. And I just can’t stop fantasizing about the possibilities. Muscles sim, ragdolls, automatic overlapping, and cloth deformation. You could use the ray cast node to avoid intersections… Cant wait!
Yes. That is part of the dream. But that is not what they are concretely working on, for the moment.

Yeah, I’m aware that it’s not their current focus. From my understanding, they are laying a lot of important groundwork with this current baklava module. wich will be an important foundation for further functionality. Wich I only consider to be a good thing! Thank you blender devs! <3
