This is my WIP project of a man. The project will involve baking high poly normal maps onto a low poly game model. The original mesh (man3.jpg) was a freebie low poly man posted by jessegp. I hope to sculpt it realistically, then retopo it into a basic game asset that I can modify to make multiple characters.
Anyway, C&C please. The sculpting is 33% done in my opinion. The base proportions are pretty good (thanks to jessegp’s excellent box model and some help from DaVinci), so my job is to flesh out the muscle groups.
More progress, though it’s taking more time than I would like. I started obsessing over the details. The topology of the model is pretty bad, not enough quads in the eyes/ears. Today I’m going to retopo the model and try to make the finished sculpt from the new mesh.
