I read it over twenty years ago and had all but forgotten about it when my son (now 23) said “Dad, you have to read this series!” Of course it was the Hyperion series and I immediately said " The Shrike" which had lodged in my memory when all else had left. So, I had to do a sculpt and this is how it turned out.
