There is a gap between the Obstacle and Fluid [Gif and pic attached]

Hi there, I am doing a simulation of an object rising from the fluid.

But as you can see, there is a gap between the obstacle and also the fluid.

Also, if I want all the fluid to drip away without sticking to the obstacle, is there a way around this?

To close the gap, you can use a proxy mesh which is a bit inset as the obstacle. Not sure why the liquid sticks. Free slip is the right setting. Might it be that liquid gets stuck in concavities? In that case you could reduce Impact Factor to get it removed eventually.
