Thin White artifact and dull render compared to viewport

I am noticing this strange white line artifact which I have no idea why it is only appearing in the render image but is fine in viewport. Also, why does the image look crisper and more saturated in the viewport as comapred to rendered?

I am using same amount of render samples, and played with clamp settings. It’s cycle.

Even the reflections looks different.

Hi,

Make sure you that you have enabled both Scene Lights and Scene World options for the Viewport Shading

image

both are enabled

are you using denoising?

the differing light seems to me like a light deactivated fo viewport, but enabled for render, is that a possibility?
there is als a very fine artifact on the viewport image at the same place as the white line in the rendered one any idea what is causing this?

Can you share your blend file?

Not using denoising.

Checked all the lights and both are enabled for viewport and rendering.

cannot share blend file.

The white line artifact comes and goes when zooming in and out in viewport. Ever since this new Blender I have observed that the render in viewport always looks better than final render.

Are you using GPU in your Cycles device?

CPU in both

Try to switch on GPU

Same result. Does it influence reflection and colors?

Sometimes, yeah, depends on your system.

What’s your Blender’s version?

Blender version is 3.6.0

Drop a screenshot of your Sampling settings

May you switch from Experimental to Supported?

in that case I lose adaptive subdivision. But here it is:

I am still getting the same result.

From what I can tell, there is something different how the light reacts in viewport and render? This I never noticed in previous 2.7x version. Render output looked similar or slightly better than what appeared in viewport. Now, even when I working on my previous project, I noticed that the viewport in almost always looks slightly better. I am not sure.

I wouldn’t be saying this, at least, I haven’t noticed that in my case when I was working on my own projects, as far as I remember.

Perhaps something wrong with your GPU drivers? Are your drivers is up to date?

I don’t think it’s related to GPU/GPU Driver as then why would it look different in viewport and render?

It’s hard to tell since you cannot share the blend file. Maybe something wrong with your Blender’s settings. Dunno.

I don’t change any basic settings. Just add Filmic under color management and add an HDRI.
