The Commodore-Amiga 1200 marked the end of an era that has not repeated again, that started with the amiga 1000 and reached it´s zenith with the amiga 500.
An era of impressive and unseen before graphics and amazing sound that rivaled that of hi fi sound systems, an era of multimedia and multitasking even before those words existed.
A bit sad to remember, on one side You were reading about the exciting amiga things to come and on the other side You were seeing magazines reaching it´s end.
Somehow in 1995 I knew my long relationship with amiga was coming to an end, I could feel it, but even at those uncertain times I knew that somehow Amiga and I would meet again.
I read just a couple of days ago the CU AMIGA MAGAZINE last issue and at the end You may read that the writer said that no matter what, AMIGA would never die and it would live through its thousands of fans even if by emulation.
And here We are more than 30 years later, still Amigans and still feeling the chills when We hear Shadow of the beast intro music.
Sure, You may have some very different memories that do not have to do with video games but with video editing or music composing, the amiga was so versatile!, Chime in and share your amiga memories.
