When I was seventeen I saw this amazing looking console, something that looked far more sophisticated than anything I had seen before, contained in a japanese white box, before it was officially launched in my country, there it was, THE MEGA DRIVE! You may prefer certain other console of the time, but that looks simply Ugly compared to the looks of this superb console.
Lovely work.
Thank You Very much Paul.
The classic
Yes!, I guess You are referring to the model 1. Regarding mega drive, there are a lot of models, some are different only in the color of the reset button or the start button in the case of the controller, but the japanese has this BIG 16 bit logo in the dome, Wich one is your favorite?.
I don’t know, really, I never had a Mega Drive, but I know it’s a classic from the console wars between Nintendo and SEGA and where my favorite franchise began.
Ah ok, Yep, it was really a console war, I guess before that there was only certain rivalry between consoles from different brands.
Absolutely brilliant! And it brings back lots of cool memories too, nice touch adding all those games. Looks fantastic, well done.
Thank You very much Erratic, such a commentary really makes Me happy.
Glad You remember the MD, sega consoles were very cool, I enjoyed a lot my dreamcast too, I bought it when it was 50 dollars a piece!
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
Thank You Bart!.
An exact replica of my very own Mega Drive 2 with my Golden Axe III
, right next to the one I always wanted but never had.
Even today, the Mega Drive is such a cool machine, there’s something about it that makes it truly timeless!
Great work, my friend! The Mega Drive lives on through your models and renders!
You’re on the featured row!
Golden axe games are superb Rogério, I like them as much
as ghouls and ghosts. really engaging games. Thank You very much for the MD 2 photos You provided friend, as always it´s really nice to read You.
Thank You Bart, I feel really happy, I guess sega Mega Drive as part of our childhood is still in the hearts of many many boys at heart.
Just an Update to the arcade pad Dpad and buttons. I Change the background a bit, Hope You like it.
To me it looks a great homage!
Well done!
Thank You friend! all those memories are worthy.
From the ones you have in the render I’m yet to play Ristar… I still have it in my to buy list… but It’s a usually expensive one as Mint New.
