Tifa is one of my favourite characters of all time. Her person, her secret crush on her friend and the resulting love triangle have always been something I can relate to.

My main focus in my projects seems to be getting facial expressions right and staying out of uncanny valley (not sure if I succeeded). I’m not so much a modeler or texturer. I could have added edge wear, wrinkles in clothes etc, but I decided to keep this more as a fun side project than trying to make everything perfect. I used only CC0 textures, either image textures or PBR textures.
Doing this made me kinda emotional at some point: I used my old donut and coffee cup models from 5 ½ years ago when I first learned to use Blender (thank you Blender Guru), when all my works were done by copying every step from follow along tutorials. Not having an idea that some day I could make something like this, even though it’s not perfect. So these renders somehow sum up my progress this far.
