Timelapse Extension

Hi friends, recently I made my first extension called Timelapse. Literally, an extension where it uses the in built screenshot function over intervals. This topic is open mainly for any bugs, reports or any feature requests so don’t be shy!

Here’s the link if you’re interested!

Take timed screenshots inside Blender

How to use?

  1. Change the intervals to your own preferences, this is in seconds, so every “__” seconds, it’ll take a screenshot, this is using blender’s in built screenshot function.
  2. Set your preferred image format, currently only JPG/PNG since I don’t see a point in using others.
  3. Set a custom directory if needed, if not, it’ll auto save into a file called “Timelapse” where you saved your blend file.
  4. Press Start/Stop.
  5. Click on Open Folder

Hello, I like your addon and I would like to ask if it’s possible to take a screenshot after a set amount of “actions” like an object of vertex moved, new object created, parameter edited etc, so that it won’t keep taking screenshot while the user isn’t working
