Whenever you spawn a mesh or a curve, there’s that Tool Settings tab in the left bottom corner of the screen, that makes you edit your object. But, if you click somewhere else, that tab disappears. How do I make it appear again, without redoing the object?
In 3d viewport?
Sorry but this is the first time I hear something like that. What happens if you press ‘T’ key?
Oh you mean the operator panel / redo panel. You can bring it back with F9 as long as you didnt do anything else. Or open the Edit Menu and trigger “adjust last operation” from there.
Now it makes sense
Yeah I was mislead by the title aswell.initially thought its about the toolsettings bar at the top.
yeah but makes little sense to me why you can’t call this thing back
Well you CAN bring it back as long as you didnt do anything else as I said above. There’s a difference between destructive and nondestructive editing.
After you created a mesh you have the chance to set it up and after that its just a simple piece of mesh, just as if you imported something you dowloaded as mesh file. There are some addons that the creation of a limited set of primitives to be nondestructive until you convert them to make them editable. Or you can create meshes via geometry nodes to be nondestructive. But that also prevents them from being directly editable via regular modeling tools in that state aswell.
If you are new to modeling, then have a look on youtube if you find some videos that teach you the difference between nondestructive and destructive modeling workflows.
Good luck.
