Toon shading is a material based option, not a render time effect applied to objects on a global basis. If you are refering to edge settings then that can be accomplished quite easily via a multiple scene setup. Just enable edges in one scene but not in the other.
see the wiki section in Materials, Diffuse Shader and Specular Shader.
Thanks…
I have tried to render by creating a multiple scenes as you suggested but it didn’t work.
It renders according to the settings of the last scene.
I kept the edge setting enable in the first scene and in the second scene (last) made it disable. When I rendered, it showed the result according to the second scene setting.
Please enlighten me how to make it possible…
Not this sure if this is what you’re looking for, but HEREyou can find a solution to combine toonedged objects with non-toonedged objects AND have them overlap.
yes this is my problem…
i am going to try it wih my file…
thanks
The only thing I can think of that you might be doing wrong is not having edge enabled on the output tab AND the render layer tab. I am unable to get this NOT to work. I’m not sure how complex things were in 2.42 but the setup need not be that complex anymore. Simple alpha over nodes do the trick.
