Toph Bei Fong

Wow, I came to this site to make an account and discovered I had made one years ago way back in 2005

Anyways, I started work on modeling Toph Bei Fong from Avatar: The Last Airbender. For those of you who don’t know, she’s a tomboyish 12 year old.

The final draft of the character sheet I settled on working with is attached since it was so huge.

And of last night’s beginning phase of the model -

Feedback is greatly appreciated!

(Also, i need to figure out how to link smaller thumbnail images. These shots are ridiculously huge)

good luck with that  nice concept drawing

if you attach the images then it should resize them… if they are to big then u should resize them in photoshop or gimp or something like that  i agree that they are too big… lol im looking at this from an 8.9 inch screen and i can only see a quarter of the image at a time :stuck_out_tongue:

thank you.

I shrunk the image down and edited the post so it’s an attachment now. I left the Blender shot as is since I have a fairly small screen and it fits on my monitor more or less.

Spent a little time working on the mesh some more today.

I love it! My only complaint is that the “shoes” look a little too thick around the ankles.

Yeah they’re a little thick. Mostly because I didnt clearly define where the ankle bracelets that she’s wearing end.

Some new shots attached.

This is the base mesh I made today that the clothing is going to deform over during the cloth simulation. Still working on the joints.
