Wasn’t going to post this yet, but was talking about human form topology with another artist on IRC. So I thought I would post the WIP. There are areas which iv just not detailed yet, but am open to suggestions and whatnot. Cheers!!!
How did you create that mesh? I am new at this and have used extruding from a cube and sculpt tools… I read about something called point for point but don’t know how to do it…is that what you did?

I created the mesh pretty much the same way as box modeling, only I started with a circle (shaped oval like the round of the waist) then extruded from there. Its a more accurate start than a cube.

thank you for the link, i’ll definitely check it out. Haven’t really touched on the shoulder topo yet. and was going to use http://vimeo.com/10596662 as a reference since it looked like it worked really nicely. Was looking for more topo stuff, specifically on the shoulder, so this helps me out a lot, thanks again!!!
