A bit hard to tell if someone does not know the reference nor the video by just seeing the first image here and then have to open another tab or download the images to compare them…
…i wonder about…
I am sorry if the images were inconvinient for you, I couldn’t find a better way to attach them, as I don’t have the privilege to atach more than 1 embedded image, sorry. I needed those to keep the curve, but I hoope you can see it on this picture. The video I watched was cg cookie’s lets build a pivot lamp video. Thank you for the help!
A suggestion.
Right click on the tutorial at the time you want us to view, and copy video url at current time. Then you can add that link here for us to see.
More people will have a look if it is easy for us to do.
Also - you could share the file. Just that one part. Again - if its easy people will have a look. There is a 5MB limit.
Sorry - no topology suggestions at the moment…
alright, thank you for the advices. In the video I am interested in this part: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5lmw_T8Ep4&list=PL3GeP3YLZn5g46RO_9qkHr81Rx8LEzDCD&index=8
I attached the creator’s blender file, and mine
Or at least I wanted to attach, but as a new user, I can’t
Wwll it’s a lamp…
… maybe starting with a cylinder/cone thingy, extrudeing and flattening the sides is a way to start…
thank you for the suggestion, I actually may have figured it out.
Still messy a little bit, but that’s alright. It looks good, I shouldn’t worry about the topology right now that much.
Yepp… just say it’s another brand …
